Soldiers: Salvation in the Lord of Host

Salvation in the Lord of Host

Exodus 14:13

‘And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever.’ kjv

From the Bible passage above, it is glaring that Moses had the prime understanding that salvation is only of the lord. Anybody seeking the help of God must also have this understanding in the saving hands of God. But the understanding wasn’t just enough for Moses, he believed and called unto God.

Faith without work is primarily useless; if you have the faith, then call upon God. God is always ready to harken to the call of those who have faith in Him.

Taking Your Ground

Pharaoh was an unrelenting dominating ruler over the Israelites. His plan was to keep the people of God in captivity for as long as he lived. There are just some enemies that have no plan of giving up until they overcome you. In the book of Act chapter 23 verses 12, the Bible tells us about a group of persons who had vowed never to eat or drink anything until they would kill Paul. Also, we have some spirits that are out to take revenge, so was the case of Abner when he was killed by Joab and Abishai.

Causes of Insistent Wars

1. The main cause of these unrelenting warriors is faulty foundation.

The book of Psalms chapter eleven verses twelve says_ if the foundation be destroyed, what shall the righteous do?

2. Secret sins:

The wars in a man’s life will never end if he is investing in secret sin. Secret sins are secret killers, they kill gradually.

3. The Spirit of Self:

Some people are just full of themselves that they give way for the accuser to torment them. Examples of the manifestation of the spirit of self in people’s life are gossip, pride, contentiousness, selfishness, fraud, etc. 4. Having the devil’s property

How to be free from these Wars?

1. Examine your life:

If you want to be free from secret wars, you need to do a quick evaluation of your life. Check thoroughly for traces of any kind of sin.

2. Come to the presence of God for Forgiveness:

If you were able to spot any kind of unrighteousness in your life, then come to God for forgiveness.

3. Plead for Mercy:

The Bible truly says no sinner will go unpunished, but God would surely have mercy on whom he would have mercy.

4. Ask God to help you:

David was a man that would always call on God’s help, little wonder he made his mark as a man after God’s own heart. God is always willing to rescue, but you must develop a habit of calling on him.

5. Use the Blood of Jesus:

We conquer the accuser by the blood of the Lamb the Bible says in the book of Revelation.
6. Go into warfare prayer: Matt 11:12_ ‘And from the days of John the Baptist until now, the Kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.’ 2cor 10: 3_ ‘For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.’

7. Pray for restoration:

Conquering the enemy is not just enough, getting things that were previously stolen in many more folds is essential.
