Bible verses about Forgiveness: Long List

Bible verses about Forgiveness

The stand of the Bible on forgiveness is firm and confirmed. God does not like it when we keep grudges and bitterness in our hearts. Unforgiveness kills as much as Fear does. This post is on Bible verses about Forgiveness, from Genesis to Revelation. Specifically, where forgive, forgiven, forgiveness, or like terms are used.

It is part of the Lord’s Prayer that we are forgiven, as we forgive those that offend us. So, what if we don’t forgive those that offend us? The outcome is obvious.

What more? Jesus asks us to pray and bless our enemies. Matthew 5:44_”But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.”
