Anointed For Supernatural Exploit

Anointed For Supernatural Exploit

1 Samuel I6: 13

“Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from the day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

Have you ever wondered why some people in the Bible were able to walk so much in the realm of the supernatural? Do you know why some people have so much faith in God, even in the face of hardship and death? Have you gotten the secret to doing exploits? Many unanswered questions like these trouble our minds daily, and we get weary when we find no answer to them. The Bible however, being the solution to every situation, has provided us with all answers to our unanswered question. And one of these answers is that anointing is needed to do exploit.

There is no exploit without anointing.

The more anointed you are, the more victorious you will become. Act 1:8_ when we speak of anointing, we talk of the Holy Spirit. Whoever is thirsting for exploit should desire the anointing of God. From the very moment David was anointed, he began to do exploit. The first battle he fought was against Goliath, and he won awesomely. It is not by power not by might but by my spirit saith the Lord.

Judges 3: 8-11.

Othniel was able to conquer Chushanrishathaim and deliver the Israelites from their enemies because he possessed the Spirit of God, the anointing. Also in the book of Judges 6, Gideon did exploit and delivered the Israelite from the Midianites because the Spirit of the Lord was upon him. And so also was Samson. He enjoyed supernatural strength because the presence of the Lord was with him; he was full of the Holy Spirit, the anointing.

So if you really want to do exploit in this generation, you need to get the anointing, which is the Spirit of God. Without the presence of the Spirit of God, there is certainly no anointing, and no exploit.

However, the anointing upon a man’s life is not as important as the ability to keep it running. Many people are anointed, but only few people make it last as long as it should. Saul was anointed, and so was David. However, the anointing of Saul only lasted for less than a year, while that of David kept running for forty years.

The criteria that determine if the anointing on a man’s life would dry up or keep running are Obedience, Possessing the fear of the Lord, and Living a separated life. All these elements manifested fully in the life of David, as opposed to the life of Saul. It is better for you not to be anointed at all, than to lose the gotten anointing along the journey. God is interested in, not just those that will finish, but those that will finish well.

Conclusion

Therefore when you get the anointing, make every effort to add Obedience, the Fear of God, and a separated life. These were the factors that made Daniel, David, and many others, finish well.
